Creativity.

This is one virtue a site must possess to lead the race in the ruthless competition in the Internet based business. With so many competition and rivalry going on, every method of marketing must be employed and utilized.

It doesn’t matter if you have a killer product or a fantastically designed website, if people don’t know that you exist, it doesn’t matter, and you are not going to make it big. Worse of all, you business could just get killed.

While there are so many methods and schemes used by so many e-commerce sites today, there are still some of those that can help you with an extra boost in the popularity ratings. One of these is the so called Viral Marketing.

While the term Viral easily depicts a virus, a word very much dreaded by all computer owners, it is not what it seems. You do not actually use a computer virus to spread your business; on the contrary it just might kill you. Everyone has had enough of all those pop up ads and spywares.

Viral Marketing Overview

Viral Marketing also known otherwise as Viral Advertising is a marketing technique used to build the public awareness of one’s product or company. They use many forms of media to reach out to the public without actually promoting the product by riding on in other forms of addictive means that could get a person hooked and be obliged or amused to actually pass it on, with the product or company advertisement along with it.

In a nutshell, companies ride on the idea that if people like the content of a media they will pass it on to their friends and family. They sponsor the certain media, such as a cool flash game, funny video, amusing story and such, which one may pass on to another with the company brand or logo or the products description or any other content to help promote the company or its product.

Viral marketing has become a popular means of advertising and marketing because they are relatively low cost. To avoid being tagged as spam mail, viral marketing counts on the eagerness of one person to pas on the product. If a person sees the name of the person they know as the sender, they won’t block it and open it as well.

Many companies offer incentives such as discounts and rebates when they help in spreading their viral marketing. They rely on the number of recipients a viral marketing gets from one person in determining the amount or number of incentive they can be attributed with.

Using Viral Marketing to your advantage

The main and foremost advantage of viral marketing is that you get a lot of publicity and public awareness about your site and your company. You get to generate a flow of traffic that are potential customers. With a little ingenuity and imagination, plus some incentives or prizes, you can reach out to a great number of people and announce your existence.

Most every site and companies are catching on to the effectivity of Viral Marketing and Advertising. Not using it could kill your business. Along with other schemes and methods in promoting your site, like Search Engine Optimization and such, viral marketing could easily push you ahead in the rating games.

Viral Marketing could be a sneaky way to get people to know about you and your company. You get them to pass your advertisement along. They are also very low cost that not investing in it could be downright a business suicide. All it takes is a great idea, a good addicting game, a funny story many ideas are still out there. Create a gossip or a buzz, many movies are promoted by using scandals and gossips to make them moiré popular. Remember the movie “The Blair Witch Project”?

Many big companies have tried viral marketing and have had many success stories with it. A classic example is Microsoft’s Hotmail. They were the first known big company to utilize the scheme and it has worked wonders for them.

Now it’s your turn to use viral marketing to work wonders for you. Act now and reap the benefits Viral Marketing will provide for you and your sales figures.

Why do people fail?

This is one of the most often asked questions in this industry.

The answer is: THE LACK OF EDUCATON.

Robert Kiyosaki summed it up correctly when he said that Network marketing is “The Business School for People who like helping people.”

So why do so many fail in this business? One of the main reasons is that people do not take their business seriously enough. The look at it as something to pull out of the closet when they feel like it and play with it.

Most people have not reached the pain level that will lead them to success. You know the pain when you have more month left then money. We have all been there.

I have personally spoken to so many people that really are looking for something that is free to join. They have not understood that it will require a marketing budget to succeed in this business. Neither their upline or anyone else has even mentioned this, so really it is no wonder why people fail in this business.

First most individuals will try to get you to join their business at all cost. They will tell you that you can make huge incomes in just a short amount of time. Are they Lying? Yes and NO.

First YES, you can achieve a huge income in a short amount of time if you already are an experienced networker and have a huge team of like minded business partners.

Second NO, what they will usually fail to tell you is the marketing budget that you will need to both build and grow your business. Think about it - there is not a bank or any other lending institution in the world that will lend you money for a business without a carefully laid out business plan and the necessary capital to carry it out.

They will not tell you about the several years of education that its going to take while building your business. Yet Network Marketing is one of the few “Earn While you Learn Programs out there”.

You will find many sites out there that will sell you a web site to build your business. I believe everyone in business both large and small needs a web site. They will give you advice that is really ineffective and misleading as to how to market your site.

Everyday more and more people look to some form of business for a variety of reasons.

In reality there is nothing wrong with network marketing at all. Some of the methods employed are questionable thought.

Personally I’ve found it to be very rewarding, if not challenging at times. No one ever told me that I would have so much to learn!

Today you can find all kinds of ad’s running just about everywhere on the radio, television throughout the internet on how easy. How you can build your network marketing business by bugging your friends and family.

There has been an influx of affiliate marketers, that boldly make claims of incredible income. Yet this income and the income they promise is from selling their outdated course.

This course is supposed to teach you how to build your network marketing business, yet some of them have never sponsored a single person in X amount of years.

So yes we buy into this hype and after a few months it leaves us feeling just like the image to the right. On a constant wheel going nowhere fast.

Now do not get me wrong there are some very reputable people in affiliate marketing that sell products and services.

Then we have lead companies that send you dozens upon dozens of emails offering you to sell you 1000’s to millions of opt in business opportunity seekers.

So what is it that we really need to change this face of Network Marketing? More hype in our marketing or base it on the real truth as to what it is really going to take to succeed.

What it really comes down to is it is our reputation out there on the line as well, not just the companies reputation that we have to live with.

I cannot even begin to tell you the number of times I’ve heard the phrase I just don’t know what to do. The person that sponsored them into the business often does not know either.

So the question is what are you going to do? How are you personally going to change it, so that when you sponsor someone you can put them on the right path to success?

Best MLM?

Posted by

What do you look for in a MLM company?

First: The company should have a product or service that you are passionate about.
Second: They should not promote the opportunity with a lot of hype or over exaggeration.
Third: Be very wary of start up companies. Many will promise that if you get in on the ground floor you will stand a better chance of making it big. This is usually brought on by naive marketers that have caused this industry to receive such a black eye.
Fourth: Look for a company training system in place. While most companies provide excellent training for their products and services, most are really inadequate in teaching you what it will really take to succeed in the MLM industry.
Fifth: Seek an outside training source Look for a company that provides both leads and market tested training. You will find so many sites on the internet that offer free training but what most fail to tell you is they make up their profits by selling your name and address to hundreds of other marketers.

Each and every marketer will tell you that they have the best MLM or Network marketing opportunity and for a good reason they truly believe theirs is the best.

What maybe the perfect fit for me though - may not be for you. With dozens of offers from the people contacting you, how do you decide?

Collateral Marketing

Posted by

This is probably one of the most misunderstood aspects of our business today. That is the proper implementation of collateral marketing. Network marketers should be using this but they’re not, and when they do use it, they don’t use it effectively.

If you believe that you are sharing, not selling. Then this page and quite possibly this web site are not for you!

If you are ready to learn what it takes to become a skilled marketer then maybe we can help you!

When I first got started in network marketing, I saw this as more of an expense then an actual benefit to my business. My first company had this video cassette that was supposed to revolutionize our business. We where told all we had to do was just pop this videocassette into the VCR have people sit down and watch it.

It wasn’t until much later that I learned just what collateral marketing was and how to effectively implement this into my business marketing plan. After spending several thousand dollars on ineffective marketing I decided it was time that I’d better learn about the subject.

Collateral Marketing Opportunities include:

  • Business Cards

  • CD’s

  • Audio Cassettes

  • Pamphlets / Brochures

  • Reports

The most important thing you need to understand in marketing collateral information is, it must be targeted and focused on a specific audience. If it is not, it will have no appeal to your prospect or potential customer.

Why should this be important? Most, but not all of your companies’ promotional material is generally about the products / services being offered by your company. This is great for gathering customers, how we implement and target it is the key.

You will need to focus your advertisements with laser like precision. For example you have this great nutritional product. Just where and who, are the people looking for these products do you know? Providing them information in the same material that also points out your business opportunity is just wrong, it takes the focus off the product or service you are trying to sell.

Where do people look for a business opportunity?

If you believe it’s in the same place you’ve got it all wrong. Yet this is the approach taught by so many companies today. So you have this dilemma, to lead with the product or the opportunity. What is it that the prospect wants, what ad did they respond to?

How can you implement collateral marketing into your business model?

First take a look at your companies’ web site, if you send someone there can they request a specific report, CD, DVD, audio cassette etc… If its not there, you need to produce your very own web site.

Should you send a physical collateral marketing piece or a free online report?

This is one of the objections I get from people all the time, so few people are willing to invest into their business. The majority that does get started with a business are never told that they have to have a marketing budget to be successful. While network marketing is a word of mouth type business, it still requires a budget to reach out to potential customers and prospects.

It’s my opinion that if you’re not using a physical collateral marketing piece you might as well stop and here is why. I prefer CD’s, DVD’s and Audio Cassettes. This is something tangible that they can hold in their hands along with a brochure it makes a powerful combination.

Why physical and not an online report.

When we send a brochure with our CD’s, DVD’s, Audio Cassette’s, the collateral marketing brochure maybe thrown away. People tend to hang onto CD’s, DVD’s and Audio Cassette’s for quite awhile. If your name and phone number are imprinted on these it maybe a year or more, the timing is now right and they play this information again, you get a phone call.

If your series about your business, you need to invest in your business. You need to invest in your customers and your prospects.

I’ve seen people take the wrong approach with this type of marketing. The get a list of names and send off these marketing pieces without them ever requesting anything. This is not the proper way to implement this and is a very fast way to drain your bank account and marketing budget.

This is part of a sales process; you need to guide them there to request this information, this could be online or offline marketing. If you’re talking with a prospect and they say just send me the information “DON’T DO IT” send them to your site to request it. The prospect must become part of the sales process, and they do this by taking the necessary action in requesting your collateral marketing information. If they are not willing too, or don’t do it, you’ve just answered a very important question.

One final thought, if your skill levels are not good, you need to improve this through training. There are so many courses online today that offer to teach you how to have prospects calling you. You are going to have to advertise to generate these prospects. If your skill level is low you conversion ratio is also going to be very low to non-existent. You’ll just be throwing money down the drain.

  • Today with the internet, network marketing is just exploding. 10 years ago most people being introduced to network or Multilevel marketing where introduced by a friend or relative. Through the web we can now bring our Network/MLM opportunities and our products to so many people. We can now bring them instant audio, video and full explanations of our business instantly In order to do this we have have to have a web presence there in lies the problem.

The problem with most multi-level / network marketing affiliate programs is that the web site is considered a duplicate site. In other words it looks just like everyone else’s web site so the search engines simply ignore the site. A good example of a Network marketing site is GojiHealthSingapore.com

What we need then is a web site of our own, one that we can personalize with our information. Item’s we will need include:

    1.) A domain name.

When Selecting a domain name, we’ve been taught to select a name with keywords in it. This is becoming nearly impossible to do lately. But it’s still possible to get great search engine rankings without it. You can register for a domain name at this site Namecheap

    2.) Web Hosting.

When it comes to web hosting, we’re all looking for bargains but sometimes you get what you pay for. Everyone should have a small personal web site, this lets your customers and prospects know just who you are. Vodahost is a very reliable webhosting company who can host the site for you, which can also earn you a residual income as you refer others. By signing on with Vodahost, you also get to register your domain name free for a year. It also has its own Website Builder which is very easy to use.

3.) Software to design our web sites, such as Macromedia’s Dreamweaver, Frontpage, Vodahost’s Blue voda etc. Software to help with linking your web site to other similar and quality web sites.

The different version of software out there are many, but most people will use one of the listed above. There is already a great many templates for web sites already designed for you for a small reasonable price.

As for web site linking software there is really only one that you would ever want to have or need. Why would you want to link to your competitors? Linking to sites with similar interests and content insure that you get a steady flow of traffic.

Below you will find the program we recommend. Once you view this you’ll know exactly how we got to where we are? Your browser may need the a few files to view this presentation if so it will prompt you to download the files.

Why this links software and not others? We will not link to other web sites that use programs such as Linksmanager or Arelis. Not because they are bad programs or services but the way the run their links pages is deceptive and most webmasters don’t even know it.

4.) The skill and determination to learn web design.Building a web site can be both frustrating and exhilarating at the same time. There is a great many resources and books out there on the subject including the manuals that come with the software such as Dreamweaver, Frontpage etc. The big question is why should you learn this?Who is going to better understand what you want and is willing to devote the time to making it right? The answer is you.
